Can you evaluate the problem I am describing?
Explain the comfort issue and ask whether the company offers diagnostic assessment, installation estimates or both. Ask what the visit covers, what it costs and whether you will receive written findings.
Confirm that the company serves the exact project address. A directory profile helps begin the conversation but does not replace that confirmation.

Have you handled this kind of assembly?
Ask about relevant finished-home projects, such as a room above a garage or a sloped attic bedroom. Request examples that match the access and restoration challenges of your house.
Discuss who will perform the work and verify applicable credentials and insurance directly through the relevant providers or authorities.

Why are you recommending this approach?
Ask which observations support the proposed areas, product and thickness or performance specification. Request an explanation of preparation and air-sealing work.
Ask what remains uncertain and how it will be resolved. A useful answer connects the recommendation to your building rather than relying only on general product benefits.

How will you protect the house and occupants?
Discuss access routes, belongings, coverings, dust, debris and any need to leave the work area. For spray foam, ask for the product-specific ventilation and reoccupancy instructions.
Identify who communicates changes and who coordinates other workers so the agreed plan is followed.

What is included after installation?
Ask who restores drywall, handles paint, removes waste and completes cleanup. Clarify any warranty, exclusions and follow-up arrangements in writing.
What if the scope changes?
Agree how hidden conditions are documented, priced and authorized before additional work proceeds.

How will we confirm completion?
Ask which records, photos or checks are included and how the original complaint will be reviewed. Keep the signed scope, approved changes and handoff information together.
Use the estimate checklist to compare responses from several providers. The goal is a clear working agreement with responsibilities that both sides understand.
